This document is provided for explaining how and why WifiWall, LTD. (“WifiWall,” “we” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our websites, mobile apps, devices, and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”) or when you otherwise interact with us or receive a communication from us.
What We Collect
We collect information you provide to us directly when you use the Services. This includes:
The content you submit. If you choose to do so, our Services will collect Wifi networks related information, such as SSID names, Signal Strength, Attack information etc. All information is collected and kept anonymously. If you choose, we also collect your ratings to Wifi networks. We also collect Location Information of your device. This information is attached to the SSIDs, so we can record Wifi network locations. We also use it in our WifiWall Management App to warn any related WifiWall Management User and Owner of a Wifi Network attack risk or vulnerability. We do it anonymously without knowing who is the target users is, but by knowing the Mac address of the devices (e.g. WifiWall device, Phone device etc.). All Mac Addresses kept independent with and without any users information.
Wifi Attack information. We collect information about attacks detected by your WifiWall devices and services. All attack information is collected anonymously and is used by WifiWall Management App.
Account information. To create a WifiWall Management account, you must provide a username and password. It’s usually an email address you provide. We also store your user account preferences and settings.
Other information. You may choose to receive Service Updates, in such case we will collect your devices’ hardware and software configuration (e.g. Firmware version, Processor and hardware configuration etc.). You may choose to provide other information directly to us. For example, we may collect information when you send us feedback, support calls and support services.
As a WifiWall Management App user, you have choices about how to protect and limit the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you.
Deleting Your Account
You may delete your a WifiWall Management App account information from our servers at any time from the user setup page. When you delete your account, your profile is no longer visible to other a WifiWall Management App users and disassociated from content you posted under that account.
Controlling Information collected by our services
By default, all our Devices do not send the 802.11 DATA content. Only 802.11 headers and prefix are collected with the MANAGEMENT and CONTROL 802.11 frames. This information is stored in the miniCAP and PCAP files that you may download from a device along with the METADATA created b the device.
We attempt to locate the WifiWall devices you own. If location found, it will be displayed on the WifiWall Management App MAP. You may deleted the identification of the device and Access Points on the MAP at any time using the MAP Edit screen.
