What We Collect

We collect information you provide to us directly when you use the Services. This includes:

The content you submit.  If you choose to do so, our Services will collect Wifi networks related information, such as SSID names, Signal Strength, Attack information etc. All information is collected and kept anonymously. If you choose, we also collect your ratings to Wifi networks. We also collect Location Information of your device. This information is attached to the SSIDs, so we can record Wifi network locations. We also use it in our Apps to warn any user entering an area of Wifi Network under attack. We do it anonymously without knowing who the users in the area are, but by knowing the Mac address of the devices (e.g. WifiWall device, Phone device etc.). All Mac Addresses kept independent with devices, with users or any other information.

Wifi Attack information.  We collect information about attacks detected by your WifiWall devices and services. All attack information is collected anonymously and is used to warn other users using our Services.

Account information.  To create an account, you must provide a username and password. It’s usually an email address you provide. We also store your user account preferences and settings.

Transactional information.  If you purchase products or services from us we will collect certain information from you, including your name, shipping address, email address, and information about the product or service you are purchasing. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g. PayPal), so please refer to the applicable processor’s terms and privacy policy for more information about how payment information is processed and stored.

Other information.  You may choose to receive Service Updates, in such case we will collect your devices’ hardware and software configuration (e.g. Firmware version, Processor and hardware configuration etc.). You may choose to provide other information directly to us. For example, we may collect information when you send us feedback, support calls and support services.

Your Choices

As a WifiWall user, you have choices about how to protect and limit the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you.

You may delete your account information from our shop at any time from the user preferences page. When you delete your account, your profile is no longer visible to other users and disassociated from content you posted under that account.

Controlling Information collected by our services

Only if you set the device Wifi details (using our App WifiWall connect), you will be sending such information and also receiving similar information about attacks in your vicinity.  At any time, you can disable the device’s Wifi details using the WifiWall connect App. Our Apps and Services: simply remove the App from your phone and we will no longer get information. Please send us an email with your user details, and we will remove any collected information by your App.
